So, you've decided to swap out the steel city for a slice of 'The Last Frontier', eh? Well, do strap in and keep your tray tables in their upright position, folks, because we're about to take off on a wild flight of fancy, zooming straight from Pittsburgh International Airport to Nome Airport! By the way, if you are a trivia nerd, that random fact should warm up your inner Arctic Fox.

But I digress. Back to our flight plans!

Leaving Pittsburgh, you can bid a farewell to the City of Bridges from the comfort your fancy first-class digs or the ultra-comfy economy class. Whether you're a frequent flyer or a mileage program member, never underestimate the power of a good flight deal, nor the blessing of in-flight Wi-Fi! While you traverse a third of the world, kick back with some of Alaska Airlines' in-flight services. Why not give yourself a mid-air spa day? Mani-pedi, face masks, the works! Just be aware of the surprised expressions of the uninitiated when you emerge from the lavatory looking fresher than a dew-kissed Alaskan blueberry.

If you're hopping onto last-minute flights with all the mukluks and parkas you can find, keep in mind that Alaska might have the icy wilderness but that doesn’t mean your checked luggage can weigh as much as a baby moose.
